Mr. Wright is a co-founder of Harbinger Capital Advisors LLC, a Florida based boutique investment banking and investment firm focused on small to medium sized private equity investment transactions. Harbinger also engages in structuring and placing private equity transactions and providing limited advisory services. Harbinger has placed or invested more than $100 million of debt and equity transactions.
Mr. Wright has more than 15 years experience working in various segments of the capital markets. Prior to founding Harbinger Capital Advisors, he served as the Director of Structuring and Analysis for CNL Capital Corp where he was instrumental in the analysis, structuring and acquisition of operating business and commercial real estate.
Prior to joining CNL Capital Corp, Mr. Wright spent five years with a privately owned commercial paper conduit were he worked on the structuring and analysis of a wide range of ABS and CMBS transactions, including real estate portfolio acquisition, commercial business loans, trade receivables, and credit card receivables representing total assets in excess of $2 billion.
Mr. Wright currently serves on the Board of Managers/Directors of a number of privately held companies. Mr. Wright, his wife, Laura and five children are actively involved in a variety of ministries through their local church.
Mr. Wright received an M.B.A. with honors from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College in Orlando, Florida and a B.S. with honors in Financial Management from Bob Jones University, in Greenville South Carolina.
